In 2024, Mega Power partnered with Badakhshan Energy Company (BEC) to enhance the energy infrastructure of the Badakhshan region. As the prime contractor for contract number CapEx: 003/2024-GO-L1, Mega Power manufactured and supplied 1,208 reinforced concrete poles. These poles were crucial for the construction of 20/0.4 kV overhead lines in the region. The project, completed between August and November 2024, exemplifies Mega Power’s commitment to delivering high-quality products and timely solutions that meet the specific needs of its clients.
Mega Power served as the prime contractor for the manufacture and supply of critical infrastructure to Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS). Under contract number NPA/DABS/97/G-2289/NCB, Lot 5, the company successfully delivered 11,641 spun concrete poles and 2,654 swaged steel poles. This large-scale project spanned from July 2020 to October 2021 and played a vital role in enhancing Afghanistan’s power distribution network. Mega Power’s expertise ensured that the poles met stringent quality standards, supporting the development of a reliable and sustainable energy infrastructure.
Mega Power played a key role in improving the medium and low voltage distribution network in Kunar Province. Under contract number MEWl01-96/ICB with the Ministry of Energy and Water (MEW), the company manufactured and supplied 825 spun concrete poles for the Manogai Distribution Network Project. Completed within a five-month timeframe from June to November 2019, this project demonstrated Mega Power’s ability to deliver durable, high-performance poles to support regional energy infrastructure upgrades efficiently.
